Birmingham City Squad Numbers 2009-10

Birmingham City have announced their squad numbers for the 2009-2010 season.

The most notable change is that new signing Christian Benitez, or ‘Chucho’, will wear the number 11 shirt replacing the previous occupant, Gary McSheffrey, who now wears19.

Other new recruits Barry Ferguson, Roger Johnson, Scott Dann, Giovanny Espinoza, James O’Shea and Joe Hart take 12, 14, 15, 17, 24 and 25 respectively.

Benitez has also been permission by the Premier League to wear the moniker 'Chucho' on the back of his shirt.
